Tain March Festival 1st – 2nd June.

You are invited to join in with the Táin March Festival and walk in the footstep of Queen Medb’s army as it concludes in Dundalk this weekend.

Now in its ninth year, the Táin March Festival was established in 2011 as a community walking festival to celebrate and promote the epic tale of the Cattle Raid of Cooley.

You are invited to join the group at Oriel Park at 12:30pm where families are encouraged to get involved and will receive face painting and costumes before meeting Queen Maeve and becoming part of her warrior army.

creative writing workshop

A creative writing workshop will take place at Dundalk next week.

Organised as part of the Bealtaine Festival, the workshop will take place on Wednesday May 15th at 2.30pm and will be hosted by Una Rice.
