Buckets for Barnardos is a one-day nationwide bucket collection taking place on Friday 25 October to raise vital funds for Barnardos children’s charity. The charity is urgently calling for 24 volunteers in Louth to give just two hours of their time to shake a bucket. Giving as little as two hours of your time will make a huge difference, says Barnardos. A volunteer on average will collect €50 in their bucket in an hour. The more volunteers Barnardos has out shaking buckets on October 25th, the more cash will be raised to change childrens’ lives for the better.
