Conference on Ethnic & Minority Entrepreneurship

Creative Spark is a partner in ENTER – Enterprise in Interface project. The ENTER project is supported under the EU Erasmus+ programme to examine the role of entrepreneurship and enterprise in interface areas. The purpose of the project is to learn about initiatives in interface areas and share knowledge across Europe, to identify how enterprise, social enterprise and business activities can facilitate positive engagement between people from different communities.

This conference at Creative Spark will examine the topic of international and migrant workers in Ireland and ethnic and minority entrepreneurship. Our panel of speakers will address issues including the experience of being an ethnic or minority entrepreneur in Ireland, cross-border working and how we can maximise the economic potential of all communities.

-Kamaljeet Kainth, Urban Indian & participant in Ethnic Women’s Stories Through Craft
-Dr. Anthony Soares, Deputy Director, Centre for Cross Border Studies
