The Brigid of Faughart Festival, now in its seventh year, has just launched its new Logo, Website www.brigidoffaughart.ie and Facebook Page all of which went live on New Year’s Day.
The Brigid of Faughart Festival will run from Wednesday 29th January to Sunday 2nd February 2014 and offers a varied programme of events in celebration of Brigid of Faughart and the Festival of Imbolc (Springtime)
The festival group worked with Castlebellingham company Gatelodge Design, who produced a stunning new logo and website for the festival. This step celebrates the coming together of a very ancient part of the local heritage of the area, along with the most up to date technology available.
“Eamon and Philip of Gatelodge Design were wonderful to work with and within two months, they had not only come up with an amazing new logo and website, but had also trained us on how to update and add to the site ourselves, which is based on WordPress Software” said Roisin Cotter of the Festival Committee. “We cannot recommend them highly enough to any local festival group or company, and the feedback we have had so far on the new site has been fantastic” added Roisin.
The festival launch takes place in the County Library in Dundalk on Thursday 16th January at 6.30pm and anyone with a story or memory of going to Faughart on St. Brigid’s Day is very welcome to come and share their memories and make some Crosses on the evening.
