Frostival Winter Festival

Experience the magic of Christmas at Frostival Winter Festival on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of November marking the start of the festive season in Dundalk Town Centre.

The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Carnival of Light’ and promises to be an awe-inspiring celebration of arts, culture and Christmas fun featuring beautifully lit floats, stilt and fire performers, an aerialist, dancers in breath-taking costumes and much much more.

We will also be hosting a Christmas Market, Family Fun Zone, Santa’s Grotto, Frostival Express Train and a Family Treasure Hunt at Market Square.

DREAM BIG DUNDALK for St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It’s time to Dream Big Dundalk as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is less than 2 months away. ‘Dream Big Dundalk’ is this year’s theme for the Dundalk parade and is kindly ‘on loan’ from Dundalk Credit Union – Main Sponsors of the 2018 event! There’s going to be lots to do and see this year, with a new route which includes the old parade route meeting point of Philip Street then taking in the town from Bridge Street right up to Dublin Street. Brigid of Faughart Festival 2017 will take place between Sunday 29th January and Sunday 5th February 2017

The festival celebrates Brigid of Faughart, as both Saint and Goddess, and the Celtic Festival of Imbolc or Spring. The emphasis of the festival is to revisit and reclaim the richness of the traditions associated with Brigid of Faughart in ways which are relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.
