Pat has been described as ‘pushing the boundaries of classical guitar’ with his musical interpretations and compositions and has made classical guitar exciting, interesting and more accessible to music lovers in general. Once Pat begins to play people are immediately captivated by his dedication, passion and skill. An Táin Arts Centre in association with Upstate Theatre Project, presents a Louth County Council Commission

Using historical testimony, local research and community collaboration and participation An Táin Arts Centre and Upstate Theatre Project have forged a contemporary imagining of the events of 1916. Blending participatory process and personal reflection on local, national and international historical events the performance fashions a unique re-examining of the birth of the nation. Reflecting on the lives of some of those who were players, the performance re-presents the past through contemporary styles and modern innovation.
